Well, this is definitely a trend, but I hope not an irreversible one.
Non-PCs continue to serve a purpose in the world -- such as in those
little nooks and crannies where dependability and/or automation are
required. We're doing our best to keep the world safe for many kinds
of computers and diverse operating systems :-)
